This sound world insists on the idea that the non-human, the other of the human (including the earth itself), is telling us something about "the present" that we need to hear but cannot because of the noise we put in front of it in the guise of self-expression. That one fails at letting that be even in the awareness is a contradiction that also informs these pieces.
